About me

Muhammad Zain Ahmad Bilal is an architect and a student of urban theory who completed his bachelor's degree in Architecture from the National College of Arts (NCA), Lahore, in 2024. His academic journey at NCA culminated in his thesis titled "Urban Sacred within the Public Realm," which earned him a distinction and the highest score among his graduating class.

Zain's interest in urbanism and architectural theory deepened during his later years in undergraduate school, driving the development of his thesis topic. His work explores the intersection between sacred spaces and the public realm, reflecting a keen understanding of the city's dynamics and its people.

Beyond academia, Zain has a passion for documenting architecture and urban life through photography and sketches. His talent in photography was recognized when he won the 6th BAE-IAP Photography Award in 2023 for his work on "Heterotopic Spaces." He has also shared his expertise with other aspiring architects, having been invited as a guest speaker at the University of Lahore (UOL) to deliver a lecture on urban surveying techniques and discuss his undergraduate thesis experience.

Currently, Muhammad Zain Ahmad Bilal is practicing architecture in Lahore, Pakistan, where he applies his knowledge of architecture and urban theory to his professional work.
